Not everyone likes exercise and I know for one, that unless I’m keeping active naturally within my job, I find that finding the motivation to move is extremely difficult. However, getting fit has so many advantages to many aspects of our lives that it would be a shame not to at least fit in some form of activity at some point.
Here’s what keeping fit can do for your sex life:
- It will help to prevent you from feeling tired and sluggish which will ultimately affect your mood and performance in the bedroom. Feeling tired from doing some exercise is much more exhilarating and, believe me, you’ll feel more inclined to have sex on a regular basis. Basically, exercise is an aphrodisiac.
- Exercise is a good way to beat mild depression which can affect your sex drive. People suffering from depression tend to feel physically tired, unmotivated and have poor libido. Exercise should help to combat the negative effects of feeling low.
- Regular exercise will improve the blood flow to your organs (including those involved in sex), improves stamina, increases strength and improves muscular tone.
- Keeping fit will extend your life significantly thereby increasing your ability to have sex.
- Frequent exercise will improve your body image, making you more relaxed about sex.
Finally, it reduces the chances of erectile dysfunction. ED is caused by circulatory problems so improving the circulation and keeping the arteries clear will prevent the possibility of ED from occurring.
