Cunnilingus is the correct term for giving oral sex to a woman although there are plenty of slang phrases that can be used. Cunnilingus is a perfect way for those women who are unable to orgasm through intercourse to climax.
However it’s not something that everyone likes and even some women are reluctant to allow their lover’s to give them oral sex. Usually, this has something to do with the possibility of a smell or taste that they may not like or, in the case of women, the fear that they may be considered unclean or ugly. Some of these problems can be rectified by having a shower or bath together to clean away stale sweat or discharge.
How to perform Cunnilingus
- Concentrate on other aspects of foreplay to get your lover excited and wet. Tease and kiss every part of her body first.
- To begin with kiss and lick her inner thighs. This, in turn, will build up the anticipation of your tongue and lips to her vagina.
- Familiarise yourself with all the little folds in her vagina by opening it up gently with your fingers. Tell her how beautiful she is to you.
- Slowly, use every part of your tongue and lips to explore every inch of her folds. Gradually build up the pressure. Don’t just concentrate on her clitoris. Some women are way too sensitive for direct stimulation of the clit so you use your tongue around it, too.
- Keep an ‘eye’ out for the little signs that you’re doing things right i.e. raising her hips higher, getting wetter, moaning/groaning and writhing around.
- Take her clitoris in your mouth and gently suck. Release and suck it again.
- Use different strokes and pressures of your tongue, lips and fingers. Try circling, side to side or up and down.
- Insert your fingers slowly into her vagina. If she doesn’t like it, however, stop.
Don’t forget to communicate with your partner. Ask her what she likes, what works for her and what doesn’t.
