Back in my sweet and innocent days, I once met up with a long distance boyfriend at a rather nice hotel. Hidden in his little overnight bag of things he had brought with naughtiness in mind was a pair of cheap handcuffs (really, scarves or good handcuffs are better–those cheap ones dig in) and a red lightbulb. I loved the red light. It was fabulously like being in some bordello and it was a great compromise between one person who wanted to leave the lights on and the other who wanted things a bit dimmer.

I have such a weakness for glow-in-the-dark anything, you would not even believe. I spent a couple of hours one Saturday when I was a kid sticking these wee tiny glow-in-the-dark stars onto my ceiling in a painfully established random pattern (it would have been cheating to get the big plastic ones, naturally). And those remain just about the best used two hours of my life. I really wish I could find some more of those stickers, I would do it again and I don’t care how old I am.
So do I love the idea of a glow-in-the-dark condom? I think…
